Measure warm hands later in the day. Repeat the measurement and consider your knuckle and band width. A professional fitting is the best way to confirm your choice.
Use a ring that fits
Place a well-fitting ring flat. Measure across the inside, through the centre, in millimetres. Exclude the metal edges. Use the diameter column below.

Measure around your finger
Wrap a narrow paper strip around the finger, mark the overlap and measure its length. This is circumference, not diameter: divide by π (approximately 3.1416) before comparing with the diameter chart.
Check the fit
